Advent Benediction: Where Can We Find This Child? (based on Matthew 2:2)

Like the magi, we want to know, "Where will we find the Savior Jesus who is born to us?"

We will find Jesus where hatred is overwhelmed by love and where prejudice and fear is overwhelmed by compassion.  We will find Jesus where people of goodwill seek peace on earth and where the excluded and dehumanized are properly valued and their inherent dignity is defended.

So in our everyday lives, may we work to make our parts of God's world into those kinds of places.
