that we find ourselves in, we cry to you God.
All: We hunger for Jesus, the bread of life,
and we thirst for God's Spirit.
Reader: God please hear us!
Pay attention to our cries for help!
All: Even though we're lost and far from home,
there is mercy and grace with you.
Reader: Our trust in you is the hope that we're hanging on.
We're taking you at your word God.
All: So we're waiting on you God, seeking.
